FIRST VISIT

Climbnasium offers two versions of climbing for you to experience. Toprope climbing and bouldering. Toprope climbing is essentially climbing up to 40ft using ropes. This version requires instruction.  Bouldering is climbing on the lower walls and does not require instruction. 

Prepare for your visit

1. Complete online waiver.

Required for all participants. For minors, waiver must be completed by PARENT or Court Appointed Legal Guardian.

2. Do you plan on toprope climbing or bouldering? 

IF BOULDERING

Simply come on out and experience bouldering on our boulder walls. There are no reservations required. They go up to 14 ft and do not require instruction. To boulder and rent shoes is $19. 

IF TOP ROPE CLIMBING

Instruction on how to safely toprope is offered in our "belay instruction class". You must be 15 years of age or older to belay for someone. Toprope climbing requires two people to participate. This class is offered at certain times. There are no reservations required. Simply arrive 10 minutes before the start of a class time to register yourself in the class.  Pricing is $12 to learn how to belay, $14 to climb, $5 for shoes and $4 for harness rental. Added up is $35.

Bouldering refers to climbing on our shorter walls that go up to 14ft. There are additional pads to help cushion a climbers fall. There are no ropes involved in bouldering. Bouldering is a great way to learn climbing movement and offers a great challenge.

 This is climbing with a rope that is attached at the top of the wall. A climber is tied to one end and a belayer is on the other end. Top rope climbing requires two people. Top roping at Climbnasium goes up to 40ft. Instruction is required for all new belayers.
